CentOS + BlueQuartz - software installation service
The CentOS + BlueQuartz server appliance already comes with everything you need to start hosting websites in just a matter of minutes. The installed software is kep fully up to date with a sophisticated patching mechanism called YUM. However, some might want a newer PHP or MySQL version installed than available through YUM.
Of course you might want to have a facility for automated daily or weekly backups in place, like our Automated Backup. Or there is the need for that extra layer of security that our Security Package with its integrated Firewall provides. Of course virii and SPAM can also be a problem, but for that our AV-SPAM is just the right tool. Below you see a list of extra software that we provide for CentOS + BlueQuartz. The software is professionally packaged and constantly maintained and developed further.
Most of the software we offer is available as self installable PKG file. These offers are marked with the [*] sign in the title. All other software without the [*] sign in the title needs to be installed remotely by one of our technicians. However, we're currently working on making all our BlueOnyx software offerings self installable.
All PKGs are licensed per server. So for each server you want to run it on you need to buy a copy. However, we do offer discounts and bulk deals. Additionally after a one time purchase future (major) updates of the same PKG are available at the discounted upgrade price of 25,- EUR per package. Minor updates are served free of charge through our YUM repository.
