This PKG installs an extra page into the "BlueLinQ" tab in your GUI interface. It provides you with the ability to poll the YUM repositories for available updates and displays the pending patches. It also allows you to install patches manually through the GUI, or automatically through a cronjob on a daily or weekly basis. Email reports about the status of updates can also be enabled. Furthemore you can review the YUM logfile /var/log/yum.log through the GUI.

Please note: When you start a manual update through the GUI (especially if you're patching for the first time), then it may take a while to complete. Don't worry about time outs. Eventually the process will finish, even if you close the browser. During a manual update a lockfile is created, located at /tmp/yum.updating. That file remains around until the update is finished to prevent running multiple instances of the update procedure. If someone visits the update page during that time, a message will be displayed that the system is currently installing updates. "Stale" lockfiles are automatically removed after 240 minutes.
Changelog:
- Update to version 2.0.3-1 (released 08th August) to fix spurious "foreach" statement in mailing routine.
- Update to version 2.0.2-1 (released on 14th May) to address issues with cronjob for automatic updates.
-
- Update to version 2.0.1-1 (released on 30th March) to address issues with cronjob for automatic updates.
Instructions: Please uninstall the old PKG through "BlueLinQ" first. Then install the new PKG. Afterwards please go to the YUM-GUI, review the settings and save the changes. Please save the changes even if the settings look ok.

| Dovecot 1.0-0.beta8 PKG for BlueQuartz w/o MySQL and w/o Postgres Support |
BQ-5102R-Dovecot-1.0.0-SOL1.pkg [RPM] [SRPM]

The BlueQuartz Dovecot currently in the bq-testing repository is built with support for MySQL-4.1.12 - MySQL-4.1.20, which can cause conflicts if you have MySQL5 installed. This PKG installs a Dovecot without MySQL and Postgres support, but is otherwise identical with the "stock" Dovecot of the BlueQuartz project. Additionally the version number of the installed Dovecot RPM has been raised to 2.0-0.beta8 to make sure that future YUM updates don't overwrite it.
ONLY INSTALL THIS PKG IF ...:
1.) You have the Solarspeed.net MySQL-5.0.15 installed ... AND ...
2.) YUM update complains that Dovecot cannot be installed because libmysqlclient.so.14 is missing
If those two conditions are met - and only then! - install the PKG and then run "yum update" again.
If those two conditions are not met, you do NOT need this PKG, nor should you install it.

Only for the users of our AV-SPAM, versions 4.4.0 to (and including) 4.4.5. Not needed for AV-SPAM-4.4.6 and newer.
This patch will install an updated "miniserv.pl", which is patched against the recently detected "Webmin format string vulnerability".
If you have AV-SPAM-4.4.6 (or newer), then the update will be fetched through YUM automatically, so you won't need this patch. If you are unsure which version of the AV-SPAM you have installed, then please check "BlueLinQ" / "Installed Software".

This PKG installs "Microsoft Frontpage 2002" support on your BlueQuartz server appliance in the same way as you were used to Frontpage 2002 support on a RaQ550. Aside from installing the Frontpage server extensions it also will install the GUI pages and handlers which allow to enable and disable Frontpage support for individual sites. Of course you can also publish Frontpage pages to users home directories, too.
This software is subject to the Microsoft EULA - which will be shown during PKG installation. The software can only be installed if you accept all terms outlined in the EULA.
This PKG is a joint effort between Brian Smith from NuOnce Networks and Solarspeed.net.

Midnight Commander is a visual shell much like a file manager, only with many more features. It is a text mode application, but it also includes mouse support if you are running GPM. Midnight Commander's coolest features are its abilities to FTP, view tar and zip files, and to poke into RPMs for specific files.
