RoundCube Webmail is a browser-based multilingual IMAP client with an application-like user interface.
RoundCube Webmail is written in PHP and requires a MySQL or Postgres database. The user interface is fully skinnable using XHTML and CSS 2.
One of the great benefits of RoundCube is it's speed compared to other web based email solutions like OpenWebmail or Squirrelmail. This is patially achieved through Ajax, which dynamically reloads just certain areas of a page instead of an entire page. This makes the handling of RoundCube just more natural like a stand alone email client, rather than a web based application.
