This is a focused migration service for hosting providers and operators who need a clean, validated move from one system to another. We migrate platforms — not just files.

What is included

• Planning & pre-check: scope confirmation, access validation, quick inventory of services/data
• Migration execution: controlled transfer of data and relevant configuration
• Validation: websites, mail services, databases, DNS basics, certificates (where applicable)
• Cutover support: IP renumbering or same-IP cutover coordination (see notes below)

Typical migrated components

• Websites, vsites/users, home directories
• Email accounts, aliases, mailing lists
• MySQL/MariaDB databases
• DNS zone data (where applicable)
• SSL/TLS certificates (where applicable)

Supported migration paths

• BlueOnyx → BlueOnyx
• BlueQuartz / Sun Cobalt RaQ → BlueOnyx or Aventurin{e}
• OpenVZ / Virtuozzo (legacy VPS/CT environments) → Incus / Aventurin{e}
• Aventurin{e} instances → another Aventurin{e} node

If your source platform is not listed, contact us. We can usually provide a quick feasibility assessment.

Cutover notes (IP addresses)

You can choose between:

• IP renumbering: usually the fastest approach with minimal disruption
• Same-IP cutover: requires a coordinated maintenance window; the source server must be powered down during cutover to avoid duplicate services

Emergency / compromised systems

If the source system is compromised, blacklisted, or actively abused (spam/phishing/malware), select the Emergency / Compromised System option. This includes containment, additional checks, and a safer migration approach.

What we need from you

• Root/administrative SSH access to source and target systems
• Public IPs and a decision whether IPs are kept or renumbered
• DNS control (if DNS changes are required)
• A preferred maintenance window (if same-IP cutover is required)
• Timely availability of access credentials and confirmations to avoid scheduling delays

After ordering: Please include the source/target IPs and access details via the order notes or contact form. We will confirm scope and schedule the migration window.

Note: This service covers platform migration and operational validation. Application refactoring or custom application debugging is not included unless explicitly agreed.
